Do you migrate Magento 1, Magento 2, or both?
Both. Magento 1 is end-of-life and we've completed many M1 → Shopify migrations. Magento 2 (Open Source) and Adobe Commerce both migrate cleanly. The data model is more complex than M1, but our scripts handle the EAV attribute model, multi-store, customer groups, and price rules.
Can Shopify Plus handle our B2B requirements?
Yes. Shopify Plus has native B2B (catalogs, customer-specific pricing, net terms, wholesale signup, quotes). It's typically a better fit than Magento's B2B module — simpler to manage, faster to load, no separate B2C site to maintain. We rebuild your Magento customer groups as Shopify B2B catalogs.
What about my Magento extensions?
We audit every extension and find a Shopify equivalent or rebuild it. Common mappings: Magento Search → Shopify Search & Discovery + Algolia. Magento PWA → Shopify's native mobile-first themes. Klaviyo for Magento → Klaviyo for Shopify (same provider). Custom Magento modules get rebuilt as Shopify apps or theme code.
How does Shopify Plus pricing compare to Magento Cloud?
Shopify Plus is $2,300/month flat (variable rate above $800K/mo revenue). Magento Cloud starts at $1,988/month and typically runs $3,000-$10,000/month with development partners. Shopify includes hosting, security, and infrastructure — Magento requires a dev team or agency on retainer.
What about Magento 2 PWA Studio investments?
PWA Studio investments don't transfer directly, but the underlying decisions (headless commerce, fast page loads, app-like UX) do. Shopify Hydrogen offers a headless React-based frontend if you want to preserve a PWA approach. For most merchants, a native Shopify theme delivers the same speed without the complexity.
