Will my BigCommerce SEO rankings transfer?

Yes, with proper 301 redirects. BigCommerce uses /category/product-name URLs by default; Shopify uses /products/product-name. We map every URL, preserve metadata, and migrate sitemap.xml. Rankings typically recover in 4-6 weeks. We've never lost organic traffic on a BigCommerce migration.

How does Shopify pricing compare to BigCommerce?

Can you migrate our Stencil theme directly?

We don't port Stencil code directly — Stencil and Liquid are different enough that a port would be a hack. We rebuild your theme cleanly in Liquid using Shopify's Online Store 2.0 architecture. The result is faster, more maintainable, and uses Shopify's native features.

What about BigCommerce checkout customizations?

Shopify Plus has checkout extensibility (officially supported customizations) that's more powerful than BigCommerce checkout. Custom fields, upsells, custom payment logic, and gift wrapping all migrate to Shopify Plus extensions. For non-Plus stores, Shopify's native checkout converts better than BigCommerce's out of the box.
